HOW MUCH WILL IT COST? - LIST OF FEESSpokane Cases. An attorney will attend your meeting of creditors with you. If your initially scheduled meeting is held in Spokane, the following fees apply:
Chapter 7 (fresh start) -- $400 Attorney Fee + $299 Court Filing Fee Chapter 13 -- $450 Pre-filing Attorney Fee + $274 Court Filing Fee
All meetings in Spokane County, Stevens County, and Pend Oreille County are held in Spokane. In addition, most meetings in Lincoln County and Adams County are held in Spokane. All Idaho meetings will be held in Coeur d'Alene. Cases Outside Spokane. If your meeting is held in Moses Lake, Richland, Yakima, Wenatchee, Colfax, or Coeur d'Alene the attorney there will be an additional fee of $500 because of the travel time to and from the meeting. For this fee, the attorney will meet with you, prepare your court papers, file them at the court for you, and appear at your meeting of creditors with you. Your case can be handled through the mail and over the telephone for an additional $75, but you will still need to attend the meeting of creditors with the attorney.
After filing, some petitions will need to be amended because not all creditors or property was listed in your petition. There is an $86 fee each time your petition is amended Reaffirmation fees in Chapter 7 cases are $100 per file. This applies when you want to keep your secured property (example: car) and want to continue to make payments.
